PROJECT ARCHITECT (Full time)

Job Summary

  • Advice clients (users department) on nature of designs
  • Prepare briefs and specifications from clients’ requirements for consultants and contractors’ use.
  • Ability to use design tools including autoCAD/REVIT and other 3-D applications for drawing.
  • Strong knowledge of drawing bills of quantities, work programs, etc.
  • Provide technical expertise in design and construction of all buildings and installations including floor plan enhancements, alterations, and renovations.
  • Liaise with contractors and contractors to coordinate developments of project design, necessary documentation, and regulatory approvals.
  • Review facilities plans and construction contracts bid, documents, and specifications for technical and/or non-technical projects applying knowledge of designs, construction procedures, building codes and byelaws.
  • Provide experts recommendations and guidance in tender process and procedures. Represent the organization in tender meeting.
  • Flag off and continuously monitor construction progress through regular onsite inspections and review. Monitor project progress in terms of quality, time, and cost to ensure value for money and building according to specifications.
  • Prepare periodic project reports.

Job requirements and qualifications
  • A degree in architecture, engineering, or quantity surveying

    Minimum of 5 years progressive experience which includes experience working with a consulting practice/medium/or large organizations.

    Working on medium or large-scale projects preferably with a medium or large organization.

    Proven experience in project management for construction project.

  • N465,000
