Job Summary

An indigenous management consulting and recruitment firm in Nigeria seek to recruit highly motivated individuals for various positions for our client.
 

Job duties and responsibilities
  •  

       Inspect, analyze and troubleshooting systems and equipment.

    ·        To be able to read and interpret repair manuals/electrical diagrams

    ·        Condition monitors all assets to see breakdown sign before failure.

    ·        Duly Writing up reports for shift handover.

    ·        Carryout planned preventive maintenance and have safety regulation culture.

    ·        To be able to use problem solving tools to analyze failures.

    ·        Repairing and replacing defective machine components.

    ·        To be able to troubleshoot and fix basic electrical faults.

    ·        Ensuring effective spare parts management and supervising continuous improvements projects in the                 factory.

    ·        Frequently working closely with the operators on the running lines and utility to get machine status                       updates.

    ·        Healthy escalation of machine faults on the lines.

    ·        Conducting general housekeeping and maintaining 5s in the workshop.

    ·        Inspect and supervise jobs done by external vendors.

    ·        Perform maintenance of electrical pneumatics and electrical controls.

    ·        Testing, diagnosing, and repairing faults in electrical systems.

    ·        Assembling, installing, testing and maintaining electrical or electronic wiring using hand tools or power               tools.

    ·        Evaluate electrical as well as operational problems.

     

Job requirements and qualifications
  •     OND mechatronics or electrician with mechanical exp with further qualification in electrics

    ·     Work experience: at least 1 years of experience in technical role

    ·     Experience in problem solving methods (Root cause analysis, etc.)

    ·     Ability to read, interpret and understand plans, electrical/process schematic diagrams, wiring diagrams,              P&IDs

    ·     Experience with repairs and maintenance of processing equipment

    ·     Good communication skills and proactive behaviour

    ·     Microsoft Office (Excel, Word)
