Job Summary

we are looking to hire a  procurement assistant 

Job duties and responsibilities
  • RESPONSIBLITIES

    •            Source and evaluate suppliers based on price, quality, and delivery speed.

    •            Negotiate contracts and terms with suppliers to secure favorable pricing and payment terms.

    •            Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand procurement needs and develop procurement strategies.

    •            Monitor inventory levels and ensure timely replenishment of materials and supplies.

    •            Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and supplier information.

    •            Coordinate with logistics and warehouse teams to ensure smooth delivery of materials.

    •            Identify cost-saving opportunities and implement cost reduction initiatives.

    •            Stay informed about market trends, new products, and alternative suppliers.

    •            Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.

    •            Resolve any issues or disputes with suppliers in a timely and professional manner.

Job requirements and qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field.

    •            Proven experience in procurement or purchasing role.

    •            Strong negotiation skills and ability to build relationships with suppliers.

    •            Excellent analytical and decision-making abilities.

    •            Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.

    •            Proficiency in procurement software and Microsoft Office suite.

    •            Knowledge of procurement best practices and supply chain management principles.

    •            Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.

    •            Certification in procurement or supply chain management (e.g., CSCP, CPSM) is a plus.
