Job Summary

The Stations Operations Manager will oversee a team of supervisors tasked with negotiating
contracts with major petrol station chains to deliver filling services to corporate clients through
automated systems, while also adeptly resolving any operational challenges that may arise. 
The ideal candidate for this role will demonstrate strong negotiation skills, and a proven ability
to successfully broker deals within the petroleum industry. 

Job duties and responsibilities
  • Hiring and managing a team of station supervisors around the country.
    Develop and execute strategic petroleum station contracting plans to ensure optimal 
    coverage in key locations
    Inspiring and guiding the team towards achieving overarching objectives
    Operating effectively under pressure and maintaining availability at all times to address 
    and resolve issues promptly.
    Proficiency in negotiation and contract management with petrol stations 
    Provision of ongoing and comprehensive training for petrol station staff and managers on
    the utilization of the PetroApp system 
    Establishment of station accounts on the PetroApp system and diligent follow-up on
    station requests. 
    Oversight of service quality provided to customers at petrol stations
    Distribution of POS devices to gas stations and resolution of related issues 
    Installation of NFC tags on customer vehicles and management of associated tasks
    Establishment of a network of freelancers for the installation of NFC tags on customers' 
    vehicles.
     

Job requirements and qualifications
  •  4-7 years of experience, preferably in oil services (major petrol station chains, lubricant),
    as an Operations Manager or Area Operations Manager for prominent entities such as
    NNPC, Total Energies, Forte Oil/Enyo, MRS, Conoil, Mobil, AIM, NIPCO, Rain Oil.  
    • B2B experience is essential. 
    • Any relevant experience would be advantageous. 
    • Proven ability to provide timely solutions to challenges. 
    • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills. 
    • Proficiency in multitasking and internal control. 
    • Strong aptitude for analyzing information and translating it for various departments. 
    • Capability to manage sensitive and confidential data. 
    • Outstanding problem-solving and decision-making abilities. 
    • Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy. 
    • Advanced analytical skills. 
    • Proficiency in utilizing Microsoft tools.
    • Owing car is a must.
