Our client, a leading commodity trading company that seeks to hire a competent Off loader for its Aluminum and Copper Ingots Manufacturing Plant. The Factory based in Mowe [Lagos-Ibadan Express Way], Ogun state will primarily recycle a broad range of scrap materials and convert them to usable Aluminum and Copper Ingots for different manufacturing purposes. 

 

• The ideal candidate will (but is not limited to): 

  • Offload from truck scraps to the warehouse. 

  • Pushing packages before loading. 

  • Operate hand trucks for offloading of individual packages. 

  • Unload incoming shipments from shipping trucks and transport them to store houses. 

  • General store/warehouse maintenance. 

  • Assist the storekeeper in checking goods upon receiving and dispatching. 

  • Handle all glass items and LED screens with care. 

• • Minimum of SSCE Certification (Secondary level Education), / OND added advantage. 

  • Ability to utilize heavy equipment based on established protocols and job-related needs preferred. 

  • Knowledge and experience in packing and applicable tools preferred. 

  • At least (3) Three years of related job experience in a similar manufacturing setting is preferred. 

  Required Competence. 

  • Proven work experience as a Packer or similar role. 

  • Experience in manufacturing or related field fields is preferred. 

  • Basic shop skills, such as using hand tools. 

  • Ability to follow verbal and written instructions. 

  • Strong communication skills and desire to work with other team members.   

  • Ability to read and comprehend applicable part prints and similar schematics preferred.
