We are looking for a detail-oriented Account Officer to assist in our client financial department. The responsibilities of an Account Officer include keeping financial records up-to-date, checking for inaccuracies in invoices, and handling queries on general accounts.

• • Work closely with other Account Department staff in achieving the targets and goals set for the department
  • Preparation of Bank Reconciliations
  • Journalising/Vounching of Data Entry
  • Creditors Account Reconciliations
  • Assist in importing GRN Costing
  • Local GRN costing and CAPEX processing into Orion
  • Assist in Treasury Functions
  • Ensure proper filling of all documents
  • Perform any other duties as may be assigned from time to time

  Specific Tasks:

  • Local GRN Costing
  • Account Payable Management
  • Collection Monitoring
  • Daily Bank Position Reporting
  • Bank rceoncilitaion Statements
  • Data Entry/Vouchers Posting
  • Files Operation and Management

• Functional Competencies:

  • B.Sc/HND in Accounting
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience
  • Professional qualification is an added advantage
  • A good application of accounting packages

  Personal Competencies:

  • Good communication skills
  • Attention to details
  • Strong personal attitudes
  • Ability to work under pressure with little supervision
  • Ability to deliver within a set target
  • Ability to work within a team
