Job Summary

The Finance and Accountant will be responsible for maintaining and reviewing financial records

Job duties and responsibilities
    • Maintain and review financial records.
    • Ensure compliance with accounting and tax laws.
    • Prepare budgets regularly.
    • Monitor expenditure and profits and providing reports.
    • Evaluate internal management systems, procedures and risks in order to provide recommendations.
    • Managing business accounts and preparing financial statements.
    • Previous working experience as an Accounting Officer.
    • Knowledge and competency in accounting principles.
    • Proficiency in management systems.
    • Administration skills.
    • Sound interpersonal skills.
    • Proficiency in MS Excel and other accounting software.
    • Self-improve continuously by way of experience and manager feedback
    • Generate new customer leads through various channels.
    • Proactively identify sales prospects and conduct business development activities in the geography assigned Follow up on new leads and referrals to generate business.
    • Achieving the monthly sales targets, assigned to him/her, for various products and services.
    • Cross sell assets and fee products
    • Follow the various internal guidelines and procedures of the company
    • Ensure customer satisfaction through regular engagement.
    • Resolve customer queries/issues and facilitate customer service.
    • Maintain periodic status reports, including daily activity report and calls/follow-ups made.
Job requirements and qualifications
    • Candidates should possess a bachelor’s degree in Accounting or relevant field.
    • 3 - 5 years of related experience working for an FMCG company.
    • Related experience preparing budgets will be an added advantage.
    • Impeccable customer service skills.
    • Excellent interpersonal communication skills, both verbal and written
    • Motivated, driven attitude.
    • Sales-driven, results-driven, and target-driven attitude.
    • Aptitude for persuasion and negotiation.
    • Expert in time management.
    • Organized work ethic.
    • Proven track record in a production environment.
    • Ability to meet and/or exceed monthly and quarterly sales quotas
