Job Summary

  • The purpose of this position is to oversee and coordinate the electricians on assigned sites.
  • Coordinate and carry out all tasks related to the repair and improvement of the electrical systems of the sites.
  • This position will also report to the Operations Manager he is attached to.

Job duties and responsibilities
    • Organize site electrical tools audit.
    • Perform electrical audits.
    • Assist the project team with coordination and planning of the work of subcontractors.
    • Resolve electrical panel issues.
    • Troubleshoot faults on electrical motors, pumps. Report and give recommendations on repair/replacements.
    • Troubleshoot and solve electrical faults in control panels for water treatment plants (WTP), sewage treatment plants (STP) and fire hydrant pump panels.
    • Carry out minor electrical installations on sites.
    • Prepare reports and compile data as required by the Electrical Coordinator and Operations Manager.
    • Ensure that company HSE policies are followed.
    • Manage HSE tool box meetings.
    • Maintain all necessary documentation.
    • Meet with customers and assist with the resolution of client complaints.
    • Be a key support staff member as required for the Facility Management Team
Job requirements and qualifications
    • A professional with at least  3 -5years of relevant work experience in related field within the maintenance service sector.
    • Must have a sound knowledge of electrical systems, customer service satisfaction and quality workmanship
    • Degree/HND in Electrical Engineering; City & Guilds Stage 3; NSE and/or COREN certified (added advantage)
    • Strong leadership and managerial skills.
    • In-depth knowledge of commercial and industrial electrical systems.
    • Can read, design and correct faults in electrical panels.
    • Excellent communication skills.
    • Advanced customer service experience and a Team Player.
    • Superior organizational ability.
    • Analytical thinking.
    • Flexible and motivated member of the team.
