Job Summary

Our client, a leading commodity trading company that seeks to hire a qualified, innovative, and pragmatic Recorder Operator for its Aluminum and Copper Ingots Manufacturing Plant. The Factory based in Mowe [Lagos-Ibadan Express Way], Ogun state will primarily recycle a broad range of scrap materials and convert them to usable Aluminum and Copper Ingots for different manufacturing purposes. 

You will be responsible for recording new items in their stock room(s). They track each item as it enters the establishment through records of what’s been sold and where those goods go. 

Job duties and responsibilities
  • The ideal Candidate candidate will (but not limited to): 

    • Record documents such as raw materials, recycled products, warehouse storage, and releases for dispatch. 

    • Track and maintain all records in a secure database. 

    • Ensure accuracy and timeliness of all records. 

    • Manage requests by the staff/ clients for copies and other records. 

    • Provide preservation and storage of all documents. 

    • Create and maintain a records management system. 

    • Perform data entry tasks. 

    • Update existing records. 

    • Maintain aluminum factory archives. 

    • Retrieve information from the filing system when requested. 

    • Maintain up-to-date logs, including information about file changes or who has access. 

    • Scan and upload files to create digital copies of physical records. 

    • Process and file copies of incoming and outgoing physical correspondence. 

    • Conduct routine verification to ensure the integrity of the filing system. 

    • Count materials, equipment, merchandise, or supplies in stock. 

    • Report discrepancies between physical counts and computer records. 

    • Distribute or stock merchandise. 

    • Receive and inventory stock. 

    • Other various tasks as assigned.

Job requirements and qualifications
    • HND/BSc in inventory management, supply chain, or related field. 

    • 3 years’ years experience as an inventory recorder preferred. 

    Required Competence. 

    • Time management. 

    • Attention to detail. 

    • Record keeping. 

    • Communication

Salary
  • N40,000.00
