Job Summary

The Learning and Development Specialist is responsible for ensuring that all training events are planned, organized, and successfully implemented. The office holder is also responsible for assessing the effectiveness of every programme to ensure it achieved its objectivesThe Learning and Development Specialist is responsible for ensuring that all training events are planned, organized, and successfully implemented. Job duties and responsibilities
  • The summary of the key responsibilities are as follows:

     

    Key Activities

    • Achieve department budget: volume and revenue
    • Build communication with clients to identify their training needs
    • Develop training proposals for clients
    • Monitor training programme marketing flyers engagements on website and social media handles
    • Coordinate a range of training programme/workshops/seminars using face-to-face, digital, and blended learning options.
    • Identify and engage subject matter experts for training programme
    • Update and maintain training faculty database with new facilitator details
    • Ensure timely registration of participants for training programmes
    • Make available high quality programme materials: registration forms, agenda, manuals, writing pads, certificates e.t.c.
    • Liaise with graphics team/corporate communications team for total brand conformity of training materials
    • Administer facilitator and programme evaluation forms for all training programmes
    • Database Management
    • Manage third-party vendors    
    • Manage flight, local transportation, and accommodation logistics for programmes out of office locations.
    • Attend to participants requests during programmes and escalate where necessary
Job requirements and qualifications
  • •BSc degree  in Social Sciences, business management or other related courses

    Minimum of 4-5 years post-NYSC experience in any related field or

    Consulting practice with a credible organization

    • Certification in a professional membership of any one or combination of the following: CIPD/CIPM/SHRM e.t.c

    Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite

Salary
  • 350,000
